Factory mid 80's Regal sitting too low. Need to raise it. What other vehicle springs are compatible with my car? Going to a junk yard. Not fitting any rims either; want a bone stock ride height.
I've added shocks to the front alone and my car STILL sits low. I was used to a Lesabre I once had that sat so level and high. This Regal isn't giving me the same satisfaction.

I live around New Orleans area, have a car with a junked title due to an accident. Car has been fixed and is now in running condition and now I need to get a vehicle inspection done to obtain a new title and it has to be done by a state official. Are there any other places to go besides the State Police office?

Hi. I want to buy an SUV…or some kind of car like that. I get so many different stories from people. Some are telling me, Never buy American cuz it's junk., while others are telling me, German or American are the best!. Still, many people tell me the Japenese cars (like Toyota and Honda) are the absolute best in the world.
Please, which type are the most solid, reliable, and best quality! Tell me WHY you feel this way.

An employee left his car at my business a few years back and has made no attempts to get the car. I doubt the car runs at all and there are no keys. The guy no longer lives in this country and from what the other employees tell me he has no plans to come back to NJ. My question is can I just tow the car to the junk yard and scrap it or would I have to go to MVC an obtain a title first? I live in NJ by the way.
I found this right from the NJ MVC website that explains how to get a title for an abandoned vehicle.
How to obtain to title an abandoned vehicle
If you want to claim ownership and title an abandoned vehicle, you must request an application packet from the Special Title Section at an MVC Agency. You must state whether the vehicle was found on public or private property.
In order to operate an abandoned vehicle on New Jersey roads, it must first pass a state inspection process.
If you own a repair facility and a vehicle was abandoned on your property, you may have it removed and stored or you may sell it at a public or private sale.
For more information or to request an information packet, contact:
NJMVC Special Title Section

do you need to still go to a notary to sign over the car or just sign the title and give the car and title to junker.

I own a 97 Mustang covertible and I have looked EVERY WHERE for these keys and after a week of searching, I cannot find it. The car continues to sit in the front driveway and I need it moved. I cannot take it out of Park without the key to it.
First, how much does a new car key cost for a car? If too much, I will just sell it to the local junk yard. It's a nice car, but I cannot afford over $200 to rekey it.
Any responses appreciated. Thanks.

Has anyone ever noticed this besides me? Every time I clean my cars inside and out they seem to feel like they run smoother and have more horse power like they are happy. Especially if I vacuum the whole thing out and give it a nice wax job. It must be something mental making me feel this way since I know cleaning a car has nothing to do with how it runs. I guess it could if you have like 200lbs of junk in it of coarse that you clean out which is never my case. Anyone else get this mental feeling?
